One of the best parts of Lindy’s life as an author is visiting schools and community organisations to share her books and writing talents. Lindy is able to use her teaching knowledge, zoo experiences and passion for kids’ books with her many audiences.
Lindy regularly visits schools with the Lateral Learning Speakers’ Agency and enjoys those days very much. Some of the comments about her school visits include:

Lindy is also available for:

- conferences and festivals
- visits to Rotary, Probus clubs and community organisations
- talks to preschools and primary school parent organisations about the important role that reading has in the life of a child.
Lindy has also:
- been a judge in The Bill Coppell Young Writers Award - North Sydney Council
- presented a paper at the M.A.N.T.L.E. conference at Shoal Bay about her writing experiences
- been an exciting casual teacher in local schools where kids can enjoy a day being immersed in life at Taronga Zoo through her book and a variety of fun activities based around it.
